Pistachio Dessert With Egg

Desserts are one of the most diverse food groups. A beautiful, stylish, and delicious dessert can give all of us the great feeling and positive energy required to do our daily affairs. Now, if pistachio is also used in this attractive dessert, it will become an energy bomb. Pistachio dessert is very easy to prepare, has a really delicious taste, and can be used in family parties and celebrations.

 Ingredients for pistachio dessert:

  • pistachio powder: 1 cup
  • gelatin powder: 3 tablespoons
  • milk: 1 liter
  • honey milk: 1 can 
  • sugar: 1/2 cup 
  • vanilla: 1/2 teaspoon
  • egg yolks: 2 
  • cream: 1 packet
  • food green color: as needed


How to prepare pistachio dessert:

Step 1: Preparing the egg mixture

To make the pistachio dessert, first beat the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla together by an electric mixer until becoming creamy and elastic. Then set the egg mixture aside.

Step 2: Preparing gelatin powder

At this stage, pour the gelatin powder in half a glass of cold water. Then dissolve the gelatin powder well in water using the Ben Marie method (indirect heat) and then set it aside.

Step 3: Combining the ingredients of pistachio dessert 

Now, mix the milk and honey milk together and stir constantly over the medium heat until boiling. Then pour a little of the milk and honey milk mixture into the egg mixture so that the egg mixture is not curdle. After mixing a little, pour all the egg mixture into the milk and honey milk mixture and stir constantly and very quickly for 2 minutes. Then remove the ingredients from the heat, add the dissolved gelatin powder to them, and mix together until the ingredients are combined.

Step 4: Adding cream and pistachio powder

In a medium bowl, whisk the cream, pistachio powder, and a few drops of green jelly food color together. Then add the cream and pistachio powder mixture to the mixture that you have made in the previous step and now it has cooled and reached the ambient temperature, and mix together.

Step 5: Putting the pistachio dessert in the mold

Lightly grease your desired mold. Pour the pistachio dessert ingredients into the mold and place in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours to become completely firm. After this time, take the mold out of the refrigerator. Using a knife, gently separate the dessert from the sides of the mold, and return it to the desired dish and garnish with pistachio powder.

Key points for preparing pistachio dessert

- If you wish, instead of regular cream you can use confectionery and shaped cream.

- For better taste and aroma of pistachio dessert, you can also use cardamom powder, saffron, and rosewater.

- Another model to prepare pistachio dessert and serve it hot is: first pour 1 liter of milk, 250 grams of sugar, and 200 grams of semolina flour into a bowl; stir constantly over a medium heat until it becomes thicker and firmer than the porridge; then remove the pan from the heat and add 100 grams of pistachio powder, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla, and 30 grams of butter to the pistachio dessert ingredients and mix well. Finally, pour the dessert in a suitable dish and decorate with pistachio powder and rose powder.
