Pistachio Butter

The most important point in preparing pistachio butter is to use raw and high quality pistachio kernels.

Roasted and salted pistachios are not suitable for this type of butter.

Also, in preparing pistachios, you should choose high quality and fresh pistachios, because some pistachios have less fat.

Anyway, any type of pistachio can be used to prepare pistachio butter.

Step 2

Put all the pistachio kernels in a grinder or blender until become completely crushed.

Add a little warm water to make dough.

If the result is not desirable, add a little more water.

The amount of hot water added depends totally on whether you want the butter to become firm.

Add honey and a pinch of salt to the blender and let it reach the desired texture.

Then pour the butter into a suitable container and keep in the refrigerator.


Notes to remember:

You can also use sugar instead of honey.

If you want your pistachio butter to be creamy, add a little soy liquid lecithin and stir more.
